Several
area seniors traveled to Little Rock on March 7th along with several hundreds
more from the state to lend their support to bills providing funding for senior
services in the state. Approximately 1,000 seniors showed up for the rally. The
two primary bills are House Bill 1750 and House Bill 1723. The total funding needed
is about $5.5 million.
